Crisis at Christmas
Traditional Carols in London support Crisis at Christmas
While we're all having a great time singing at the carols sessions it's very easy to forget that there are many people for whom Christmas is not a time of joy and who will be spending Christmas alone and on the streets.
With this in mind, since 2017 we have adopted Crisis at Christmas as our chosen charity. To date we have been able to provide around £15,000 to help get people off the streets. Collections to date:
Royal Oak - 2025 = £500.20(Total from 2017 to 2024 = £2075.28) Grand total to date = £2575.48
Victoria Inn - 2025 = £188.10 ( Total from 2017 to 2024 = £855.36) Grand total to date = £1043.46
Cross Keys- 2025= £290.25 (Total from 20244 = £330.17) Grand total to date = £620.42
Plus the previous total from 2017 to 2023 at The Bricklayers Arms = £1254.07
There were no sessions at either The Victoria or Bricklayers Arms in 2021.
Our 2020 collection which was via Just Giving reached £1200. Thanks to all who donated.
2025 collections update. The grand total of £978.55 was topped up to £1100 with profits from carol book sales and further personal donations and that total will, once again, be matched by the generosity of one of our regular singers and also matched by his company making a total donation this year of £3300!
